The last drop of water
flows through the cracks in the earth
and down to the depths of hell.
It is the life-blood of the land,
the sustenance of the earth,
the hope for all life.
It is also the harbinger of death.
It is a reminder that life is finite,
and that everything must come to an end.
Water is the lifeblood of our earth.
She nurtures and sustains all life,
From the tiniest blade of grass
To the largest tree in the forest.
Her gentle rains fall on the land,
Washing away the dust and grime,
Bringing new life to the earth.
She quenches the thirst of all creatures,
Giving sustenance to their bodies and souls.
Without her, we would perish.
Thank you, Water, for your life-giving gifts.
